Our Sustainability Impact

Sea Going Greens mission is to alleviate the negative impact of the tourism industry on the (marine) environment. Since our founding, we have worked on projects worldwide that enable sustainable change while limiting our own impact on the (marine) environment at the same time.

Empowering Clients

At Sea Going Green, we prioritize minimizing our sustainability footprint by empowering clients to enact meaningful change. Through personalized guidance, we equip them with the tools to integrate sustainable practices. From engaging guests to implementing eco-friendly policies, our approach emphasizes collaboration and proactive stewardship. We also support client-led initiatives like beach cleanups and community engagement programs.

Reducing Our Impact

Another key way we at Sea Going Green reduce our sustainability impact is by minimizing our own personal and company footprint. We are committed to using eco-friendly office supplies, collaborating exclusively with sustainable partners, adopting sustainable travel practices, and hosting eco-friendly events. By integrating these measures into our daily operations, we not only align with our values but also set an example for our clients and the wider community.

Our Climate Emergency Action Plan

Sea Going Green has declared a climate emergency and developed a Climate Emergency Action Plan to reduce CO2 emissions for our clients and office operations. By signing the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism, we reaffirm our commitment to driving sustainable change.

Community Cleanup Initiatives

We also actively engage in Community Cleanup Initiatives as part of our commitment to environmental stewardship. Having hosted and participated in over 30 cleanups, we are dedicated to making a tangible difference in our local and global communities.
